Guided Tour PC remote control

Diese Bilder sollen eine Hilfestellung bei der Inbetriebnahme der Fernsteuerfunktion von IRdeo sein. Die Sprache ist beim ersten Loslaufen auf Deutsch eingestellt. This tour should help you to get IRdeo working. Please give me hints, where the Interface can be improved. Some queries have to be answered in German, Yes=Ja, No=Nein.
First answer is "Nein".
The Box will indicate "English",
Answer "Ja".
If you want to change this setting later on, go to "Bearbeiten/Englisch" to change the user interface.

Bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme wird das Infrarotdevice abgefragt. Diese Auswahl kann später geändert werden. First the infrared device has to be selected. This choice can be changed later on, Yes=Ja, No=Nein.

Nun hat man eine Vorlage für eine Fernsteuerung. Man kann nun entweder eine fertige Vorlage laden von http://irdeo.de/fb.htm , oder selbst eine Fernsteuerung eintrainieren. Now you have an empty remote template. You can either load a ready to use remote control from http://irdeo.de/efb.htm , or train the remote yourself.

Auch Makrofunktionen lassen sich einrichten. Beim Klick auf einen Musiktitel steuert IRdeo den 200 CD Wechsler zuverlässig zum gewünschten Titel. Also makro functions are possible. If you press a titel-button IRdeo sets the 200 CD changer to the richt CD and starts the right track.

Zum Lernen muß "Bearbeiten/Lernen" angeklickt werden. Einmal Klicken setzt den "Haken", nochmal klicken entfernt ihn wieder. To learn you have to click "Settings/Learn". Clicking once sets the check mark, click again to remove it again.

Die Taste drücken, die man lernen möchte. Press the key, you want to train.

Ob alles funktioniert kann man daran erkennen, daß der Schriftzug "Infrarot Detektor" rot/grün blinkt, wenn man eine Fernsteuerung auf IRdeo abfeuert.
Nun die Taste "Lernen" drücken und mit der Fernbedienung auf IRdeo zielen. Während der Lernphase blinkt der "Infrarot Detektor" nicht.

If everythings works o.k., the label "Infrared detector" blinks red/green, if you fire a remote control towards IRdeo.
Now press "Learn" and target with your remote towards IRdeo. During this learn-phase the label "Infrared detector" does not blink red/green.

Wenn alle Tasten gelernt sind, nochmals "Bearbeiten/Lernen" After the training toggle the entry "settings/learn".

Jetzt können die Tasten, hinter denen ein Code steckt, gedrückt werden. Now all trained keys are enabled.

Beim Druck auf die Taste sollte der Videorecorder anspringen.

Beim Verlassen des Programms sollte man die Änderungen speichern.

Press "> VCR" and be impressed !

When leaving the program, changes should be saved.

IRdeo Plus

IRdeo Plus bietet eine erweiterte Funktionalität :

  • Eine WAV Datei des Befehls erstellen.
  • Die zusätzliche Option "Analytisch" aktivieren.
  • Sony Befehle direkt eingeben.
  • HEX zurück nach Infrarot wandeln.
  • Befehle ohne Wechseln der Maske ausprobieren.

IRdeo Plus

IRdeo Plus gives additional features :

  • Produce a WAV file of the command.
  • Have the option "Analytisch".
  • Specify Sony Codes directly.
  • Translate HEX back to infrared.
  • Check out codes without having to change the window.
